Nē, nu paldies... Tā jau man sirds klauves piemetās, kad redzu kādu labu eksemplāru, bet Tu vēl te ieliec nopulētu skaistuli... Lai gan mana sirsd vēl vairāk uz zilu vai pat melnu....

so... if you think you`re ready to buy C123, read this:

1. never buy C123 in poor condition for low price. this way is difficult, long and much more expensive as to buy C123 in really good condition.

2. fair price for 280CE is approx. 10’000 EUR, for 230CE approx. 8’000 EUR. if you will ignore paragraph 1, the price remains same, just period you will pay it could be different.

3. year of production and mileage doesn’t matter. technical condition, point of view of past owner, engine type and set of comfort options does matter. Automatic gearbox is device of kind of “must have” without discussion (expt. paragraph 5).

4. actually there’s a point of snobbery – imagine you have 230CE 136HP with full furniture (automatic gearbox + klima + niveau + power windows + abs + air bag + … + …), but one day you meet another guy with similar car witch has 2.8 engine with 185HP. i’m sure you will be disappointed.

5. sure you can make fine spartan choice of 280C with 2.8 engine, carburetor, manual gearbox and zero of comfort options. at first, 280C (not CE) was made in quantity of 3’704 units (link >>) and stands as rarest modification in the range of 123. another strong reason to have this one is high fuel consumption in level of 18 liters per 100 km (link >>). everybody understands that this guy is really mad about his car.

6. concerning diesel coupes… i’m not sure you will pleased with these very smoothly, but very slow rides. only reason to have it is that diesel coupes become popular day to day and C123 with diesel engines is one of earliest serial diesel coupes in the world. in case you still want diesel car, pick 300CD Turbo Diesel up, not 300CD.

7. do not make hurried purchase! if the car you look around is lacking for something, don`t buy it. your car is still waiting for you. somewhere.
